Error in Genetics Template for Simple Search

When I use simple search, each entry has an ellipsis (...) underneath, which takes up space, and isn't present on the live sites.

E.g.:  http://plosgenetics-demo.plos.org/search/simpleSearch.action?query=Introducing+PLoS+Genetics&startPage=0&pageSize=10 [^]

Can this be removed for a cleaner look, or does it serve a purpose?

This is a bug in the genetics template. The full author list should be appearing in search results along with the matching search string. It works correctly for all other journals.

(In [7645]) If there is no search abstract we are still returning a blank string paired with a "...". This change fixes this. Now when there is no search abstract to shorten, we return a blank string.
