Competing Interests Sequence Error

Reported by: npeterson Owned by: rcave
Priority: high Milestone: 0.9.3_rc1
Component: ambra Version: 0.9.3
Keywords: Cc:

Description

When posting a comment or note, if I select the "Yes I have competing interests" radio button and type something in this field, then select the "No competing interests" radio button instead, the text I previously entered into the field remains visible (though greyed out and un-editable). When the comment/note is posted, it says that competing interests are declared and then details the text I entered into the COI box.

(In [7659]) These are some Improvements to handle different use cases for competing interest statements.

Pending on how and when the widgets were created some things were not behaving quite as well as expected. That is, the first post, 2nd reply after first was cancelled, competing interest being filled in but not selected. This should help resolve these issues. References #1281
